Synopsis: 'Fool’s Gold' is a middle school western film that focuses on a Amelia, an unsocial girl at school who struggles to stay isolated when a talkative nerd attempts to hire her to protect him from his cruel bullies.
AMELIA (11-13) is a rugged loner who only looks out for herself. She carries around a handmade slingshot, with which she's incredibly dangerous.
TREVOR (11-13) is an insecure nerd who struggles to defend himself. He wants to escape from the wrath of his primary bully, Braxton.
BRAXTON (11-13) is a cruel and narcissistic school bully who torments Trevor in order to get a test answer key.
DYLAN (11-13) is an obnoxious and incompetent boy who takes orders from the school bully, Braxton.
MS.REYNOLDS (25-40) is a middle school math teacher who constantly encourages her students to do their best.
EXTRA KIDS (11-13) are students in the school and at the park.
