Synopsis: A drama about an unfortunate little boy and his Mother. The Mother goes off one day telling her son she will be back later but never returns. She has been prostituting to make a decent living, but she wants out. She gets beat half to death and dumped on the side of the road right outside the outskirts of town. Chase goes to a coffee shop where the owner brings him in, and learns about his situation. The coffee shop owner resorts to calling the police, and as they wait for authorities to show up, they talk and get to know each other. They discover they have more in common than they anticipated.
Chase (Son of Phoenix)
6-year old boy, (mixed race) he is very mature, adventurous, imaginative, hopeful, understanding, patient, wise and observant.
Lina (Coffee Shop Owner)
In her mid 20’s, Caucasian, short hair tender soft and child like, optimistic ambitious determined to have a better life.
Phoenix (Main Character, Mother of Chase)
Caucasian, 30 years old. Long hair. Stubborn, fire cracker, free spirited, rebel. Fun, Caring honest, loyal.
Sean (Coffee shop worker)
20’s Male, Any race is ok.
Janice (Phoenix closest friend, prostituting with Phoenix)
In her late 20’s, any race. Loyal, funny, smart, caring, she has bounced around in the system her whole life her and Phoenix understand each other.
Jason (Phoenix “pimp”)
In his mid 30’s, very tall and scruffy looking. Looks intimidating, has tattoo’s. Any race is okay.
Man #1 and #2
Both work for Jason, can be any race and age just no older than 30’s. Man #1 is the main person that runs Jason’s errands. He is a scumbag type of guy and beats Phoenix.
In her late 30’s, lives under the bridge with Phoenix, very nice and kind to her and chase. Any race is okay.
Any race any age.
Food Stand Worker
Any race any age.
