Synopsis: Originating deep in the heart of Texas, Home for the Holidays is a powerful, intimate,
and tender exploration into the nation’s first travel program for individuals dying from and
living with AIDS and their families. This elegiac but inspirational feature length documentary
film tells the stories of individuals attempting to reconcile with their families over the
holidays, and follows the crusade of one man who believes that no one should die alone.
