Recently, San Marcos News Live had the opportunity to speak with key cast and crew members of “Ruth’s Locket” written and directed by Gene Burns. Gene is Mr. Burns, who also acts in the film, addresses thru his script, the topic of Alzheimer’s, which is crucial in today’s society for both parents and caregivers.

On a personal note, my own grandmother passed away from Alzheimer’s and as you might expect the topic is rather close to my own heart. “Ruth’s Locket” addresses the topic of Alzheimer’s in a very touching way.  Almost from the start,  I’ve watched Gene nurture this project into “being” while still paying great attention to detail and professionalism. This film means a tremendous deal to Gene, and everyone involved, and the work that has already been put into this film a testament to their devotion.

Take a moment and watch the video below discussing more details of this special project.
