El Paso, Texas Native Ryan Piers Williams’ Feature Film “The Dry Land” Screens At Sundance Film Festival

This coming Sunday, El Paso, Texas native Director Ryan Piers Williams’ will debut his feature film, “The Dry Land,” at the Sundance Film Festival. Congratulations to Ryan Piers Williams and the entire cast and crew of “The Dry Land.”
Having worked on several films previously, including “Tape,” “Ocean’s Twelve,” and “Ocean’s Thirteen,” “The Dry Land” is Ryan Williams’ first feature film as director.
Filmed partly in El Paso, Texas just last year, the film follows a U.S. soldier returning home from war as he struggles to reconcile his experiences abroad with the life and family he left in Texas. “The Dry Land” stars America Ferrera, Melissa Leo, Jason Ritter, and Wilmer Valderrama.
