Watch and Vote For Austin Filmmaker Galen Carter-Jeffrey’s Short Film “Anthem”
Watch and Vote For Austin Filmmaker Galen Carter-Jeffrey’s Short Film “Anthem.”
University of Texas graduate and filmmaker Galen Carter-Jeffrey recently got accepted into the online short film competition thedoorpost.com. His film “Anthem”, is a dark vision of the future where humanity knows no individuality.
“Anthem” was shot entirely in Austin, Texas on a budget of less than $1000 and uses many locations familiar to the Austin community. The old power plant and the old county jail are just a few of the locations he was able to utilize. “My goal was to create a setting and an atmosphere far removed from reality.”
Mission accomplished, Galen!
