THE 2009 GULF COAST FILM AND VIDEO FESTIVAL
September 25-27, 2009
The Gulf Coast Film and Video Festival was created to showcase the discovery of new and emerging artists. Goals Include to encourage the work of the Independent Filmmaker and promote the concept of film as an art, offering awards as a means of educational outreach and expanded awareness of independent film.
Film Categories and Fees:
- Shorts: No more than 15 minutes – $30
- Standard Works: No more than 35 minutes – $45
- Longer Works: No longer than 90 minutes – $80
NEW for 2009 – Scripts and Screenplays Category:
- Short Work: Under 60 pages – $30.00
- Standard Work: Minimum 70 pages; Maximum 130 pages – $45.00
Student Filmmakers: – In the hope of encouraging young filmmakers, Entry fees are half price for all STUDENT DIRECTORS. Directors must send a copy of their current Student ID along with their entry fee. Only the Director’s ID will be excepted. All late fees still apply.
Submission Dates:
February 23rd to May 1st, 2009
May 2nd until June 27th ($10 Late Fee Applies)
