Texas Filmmaker Angie Alexander Talks About Her Short Film “I’ll Take Care of You” at WomenInFilm.Dallas Chick Flicks Screening.
4XWIF.D Chick Flicks Short Films Screening
Film Title: I’ll Take Care of You
Director: Angie Alexander
Chick Flicks, WomenInFilm.Dallas’ year-long film series, celebrates their talented membership by featuring four outstanding shorts by WIF.D members. ShortFilmTexas.com was lucky enough to attend the June 18th Event at the Studio Movie Grill in Addison, Texas and had a blast. I have nothing but nice things to say about all of the filmmakers and the WIF.D volunteer staff. (and big thanks to my sister Jennie for all her help!)
One of the filmmakers I had the chance to talk to after the screening is a woman by the name of Angie Alexander. Angie’s film “I’ll Take Care of You” tells the tale of a woman in search of justice and is a fun ride for any woman who has ever dreamed of getting even. You’ll never listen to your vehicle’s satellite navigation provider quite the same again.
A native Texan, Angie Alexander has worked and produced films for everyone from the BBC to historical documentaries for the Irving Independent School district. She is the founder of Tempest Production Company which creates educational films and documentaries.
WomenInFilm.Dallas is still accepting submissions for its newly expanded program of the remaining screenings for 2009. CLICK HERE for submission information and guidelines.
