Special Notes for Potential Cast/Crew:
The film was shot on a Canon 7D and looks incredible. We had a great sound guy as well so all of the materials are here to make a great film. The performances are great and the co-lead is an Emmy winner.
There is no pay for this project as it was shot on a zero budget. The film will be pushed into many festivals and will hopefully be used to raise funding for a feature film so there may be future work involved if you mesh well with our team.
If interested, please send a link to your reel or a film you’ve cut and we can hopefully meet up to talk about the project. We would like to have a rough cut of the film by mid-January.

Hi,
My name is Austin Reedy, I’d like to talk to you about maybe helping out as an editor on your short. I’m not sure what you’re time frame is, I see you’d want to get finished by mid January, and I’m not sure I could even start working with you until the first week, so it may be pointless to email, but I wanted to at least contact you and let you know I was interested in learning more. I have been working as an assistant editor in Austin since May and am looking to get any lead editing experience I can. Unfortunately since I’ve been here only 5 or 6 months, none of the films I’ve worked on have anything finished enough to provide examples, but I have an online reel of things I worked on in college available if you’re interested in seeing it. Either way, I’m interested in your movie, and would like to at least chat with you at some point to just discuss the situation and see if I could help you out. Thanks for reading, you can contact me at the above email (adreedy@umail.iu.edu) or by phone at 812-320-9646 if you have any questions. Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you!
