Film Synopsis:
Three years ago, Naveen left India to come to the United States. Today, his wife and son join him. Fatakara! tells the story of the fireworks that ensue as the family reunites.

Casting:

• NAVEEN – Mid to late 30s. Chased a dream to America, but now must prove himself a worthy father and husband to save his family. A challenging role that will require strong comedic timing and dramatic honesty.
• PAURAVI – Mid to late 30s. Three years raising her son alone has shaped Pauravi into a strong, independent woman. She hopes to restart her life with Naveen, but only if he passes her test. The ideal actress will be able to give life to Pauravi’s inner conflict as she pushes Naveen away.
• AAKASH – Six to Twelve years old. Naveen and Pauravi’s elementary-aged son. A mix of Naveen’s dreaming and Pauravi’s independence. He sets everything in motion and steals the show.

Auditions will be scheduled by appointment in Austin, Houston. This project will be a SAG signatory.
