Film Synopsis:
Gloria is a typical pre-teen girl; she, and her best friend Jamie try to survive life at school the best they can. When Gloria shows up at school with a mysterious box, Missy and the other “in-crowd” take no notice; but those who do, discover something terrible.

Casting:

• GLORIA (F/8-14) Gloria is a typical girl-next-door. Once a member of the popular girls, she has somehow made an enemy of THE most popular girl in school. Gloria wields a mysterious secret: a tiny, blue box that she both idolizes and seems very cautious of.
• JAMIE (M, 8-14) In love with Gloria, he is the “best friend.” He tries to give her good advice, but mostly just follows her around like a loyal puppy,
• MISSY (F/8-14) Most popular girl in school. Beautiful; future-cheerleader type. Laughs and makes fun of Gloria.
• MR. MEYERS (M, 30s-50s) Principal. Tries to be a friend to Gloria. Discovers the secret of the box, to his great peril.

Gloria has applied to be a SAG short film, and invites both SAG and non-SAG actors to apply. Auditions are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
