Synopsis:
“Tap Out” is a Mockumentary about the pandemonium that occurs the day before Blake “The Bulldog” Belford’s first UFC fig at the dysfunctional Mixed Martial Arts gym Frightening Fighting after his girlfriend breaks up with him. If you are interested email me and I will send you the script.

Although the crew is comprised of UT Students, we are taking this project very seriously and plan to submit “Tap Out” to multiple film festivals. This film will be shot on hand held and with very few takes to support the documentary/unscripted aesthetic.

Actors are strongly encouraged get deep in their character skin and not be trapped by the words and actions on the page. Though “Tap Out” is scripted, both actors will be able to “paraphrase” the dialogue and actions in the script and improvises as they interact with the other characters.

“Tap Out” is a great opportunity for an actor to really get inside a character’s head and have the freedom express how their character would act in ways what is on the script

• Blake “The Bulldog” Belford – a gifted but neurotic cage fighter – 20′’s-early 30’s, athletic
• Nathan Hill (head coach for team) late 20s – mid 40s
