Synopsis:
Brian, Dusty, Tiva and Reina are among the contestants on “Island Nation” a “Survivor”-like reality show. They fail in their attempt to elect Brian as their president, and it seems they will soon be voted off the show, but Brian has his own scheme in mind, involving an attack on a large commercial fishing vessel.

Character Breakdowns:

• NARRATOR (18-100 years of age) to read screen directions.
• BRIAN SWANSON (21-35) – A welder with some talent for leadership.
• TIVA O’CONNOR (21-35) – A vegetarian, committed environmentalist and liberal daughter of hippies.
• RYAN HEIDE, (21-40) – An overworked videographer for a reality show for the Music Video Channel.
• DUSTY REYNOLDS, (21-30) – A bartender with a cowboy style who enjoys beer and guns.
• REINA, (21-30) – An attractive and very fit woman from New York City. She practices kung fu and excels at using it. She does not smile much. Looking for an actress with actual martial arts experience. There is a choreographed fight scene. Any ethnicity.
• GINA, (27-45) – A tall and confident woman. She is the CEO of a software company. A born leader and firm believer in unfettered capitalism.
• HUMPHREY, (35-50) a Barbadian (Afro-American) fisherman who lives with his family on an otherwise deserted island. British accent required.
• HUMPHREY JUNIOR, (12-21) Humphrey’s son; a young Afro-American fisherman from Barbados. British accent required.
• DAN PHELPS, (30-50) a successful producer of reality shows for the Music Video Channel.

Auditions will be held October 25, 2009. Location to TBD.
