TXMPA Fundraising Drive - Can I Get a Five Dollar Holler?
And now…a message from Southwest TXMPA Representative Cynthia Neely.

“Can I get a 5 Dollar Holler?”
Saturday I went to a major casting call in Houston and sat in the room with hundreds of happy, hopeful people - - thrilled to be auditioning for the first major motion picture to come to Houston in a long while. Many of my colleagues were there; excited about this opportunity just like me.
Remember the saying, “Brother, can you spare a dime?” Well, I’m asking, “Can you spare a five?” Seriously! We want more casting calls like this for feature films.
I’m asking you to write a five dollar check this week to the Texas Motion Picture Alliance, so we can help make more casting calls happen - - so we can bring more production work to keep us all employed no matter which side of the camera we’re on. Donate $30 or more and get a free TXMPA tee-shirt through this Five Dollar Holler mini fundraising campaign. (The shirt is ice blue with “Lights. Camera. Action!” on the back and the TXMPA logo on the front. Very cool, thanks to the efforts of Sharon Murphy who is also on the TXMPA board). If you only want to get the shirt, and not make the five dollar donation, they are free with any donation of $25 or more through Sharon at sharon@pbtalent. com.
C’mon, you’ve probably got five bucks worth of change jangling around in your car’s cup holder.
I’m raising this money specifically to cover printing of TXMPA promotional pieces needed for the SXSW and AFI-Dallas film festivals in March. That’s 9,000 copies and no small piece of change for the Alliance.
Help the organization that’s working to bring YOU more work. ASAP, please!
Here’s what to do:
1. Make checks payable to TXMPA.
2. For donations of $30 or more, list tee-shirt size on your check and shipping address.
3. Mail to me ASAP:

Thank you so much for your support of this mini fundraising effort,
Cynthia
