Production Summary: Non-SAG. The Devil’s Gravestone is a feature film to be shot on High Definition Video. Principal Photography is scheduled to begin in late February of 2008, and be completed in March of 2008. To be shot primarily on nights and weekends.

Characters:

JAQ (short for “Jaqueline”, pronounced “Jack”) – Jaq is the lead character. Mid to late twenties. Pretty, athletic, can take care of herself. She is a haunted woman driven by vengeance. Her life revolves around the hunt for the man who killed her 4 year old son. That man is her husband.

thingy – Lead male character. 30-40 years old. Tough. Hardened, but good looking. Police Detective with demons of his own. He helps Jaq on her journey.

CALE – 25–30. Very good looking. All American. But can display an evil that scares the hell out of you. He is Jaq’s husband. Upon being changed into a vampire, he promptly feeds on his only son. He regrets this. He is vain, and the loss of his bloodline haunts him. He is driven by his desire to have another son. However, vampires are sterile, so he must find another route to his goal.

DOC – Over 60. He’s seen a lot in his time. Once a promising young surgeon, he now devotes his time to the study of vampires. He does so in his make-shift hospital, dissecting his captive vampires like guinea pigs. He’s always working. Obsessive. Crass. Insensitive.

DEXTER – 30–50 years old. Excitable. Dexter is an academic obsessed with the darker things in life. He has Phd in theological studies, specializing in the occult. His work is his life. He has so many books in his house you can barely see the walls.

MAGGIE – late twenties to early thirties. A pure soul. Virgin. Innocent. She is the vessel for Cale’s plan to have a child.

GARRETT – 20-35. Serial Killer. He looks like an accountant, but it’s an act. He is vicious and disturbed.

NICKI – 20’s. Pretty. Party girl. Victim to a serial killer.

CATHERINE – 20-30. A beautiful vampire who has been around for a long time. Her greatest joy is turning young men into vampires.

ALSO – several Day Player roles, including: News reporter, Police captain, Vampires, Young boy (4 years old), Young boy (8 years old)
