Synopsis: Office Space, lunch scene
CASTING:
Peter – Male, 20s to 30s. He is a very bright and witty low-income man, who is extremely free-spoken about whatever may be on his mind and becomes even more of a slacker after being briefly hypnotized from an occupational therapist recommended by his ex-girlfriend and has a revelation that he wants to quit his job and do nothing. He hates his boring desk job, his multiple bosses and the corporate structure of his work at Initech, a technical/computer firm.
Joanna – Female, 20s to 30s. She works at Chotchkie’s, a cheesy/corny restaurant, hates her boss and her job too and begins to fall for Peter and his ways of free thought and the fact that life is more than a day job. She is a quirky, fun loving girl, who shares the common interest of watching “Kung Fu” with Peter.
Paid/Non-Paid: Non-Paid but I will give the actor and actress a
DVD of the completed scene that they can use for their reel.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talent to 20 up-and-coming directors in UT’s film program as well as a proven one in our professor, Ya’ke Smith.
