Studio B Performing Arts Center, non-profit community theater located at 2400 FM 407 in Highland Village, TX, is now registering for several summer kids/teen acting classes and workshops.

We have openings in the following classes/workshops:
Emperor’s New Clothes (begins June 9)-all ages, kids learn and improve stage technique while rehearsing the show. Ends with performances. $245

Tom Sawyer-same as above, in July

Set Design/Tech Workshop-work and design sets for the above shows, ages 12+, $225

Teen Improv, ages 12+, learn improv techniques, write and direct show with other participants, August 11-22, ends with a performance, $325

Musical Theatre/Cabaret Workshop; write, direct and choregraph your own musical with other participants, ages 11+, Augst 11-22, ends with a performance, $325

American Idol Vocal Intensive: all summer, includes two weekly private voice lessons and a 4 hour weekly seminar, $600, ages 12+, begins in June

Acting for Film, ages 10+, some previous acting required (stage work acceptable), learn basics of acting for film, how to become a character, participants leave with DVD of work. June 14, 21, 28, $175

All workshops require advanced registration.
