Thorton Casting is seeking a Line Producer to shepherd their independent 35MM short “This Girl Griot” through pre-production and principal photography.

Synopsis: This 12 minute live-action narrative follows SISTER FRIEND, a refugee, as she journeys through a fantastical landscape searching for the last link to her country, her home, and the last person in the world she can call family, her missing brother, BABY BRO.
Crew Positions: Line Producer; producer should have experience in narrative films, the ability to break down a budget and schedule, maintain a good rapport with crew and equipment rental facilities. Familiarity with Austin and Austin filmmaking a plus.
Paid/Non-Paid: Pay commensurate with experience.
