Houston 48 Hour Film Projects Screening Tonight at First Monday Film Mixer
First Monday Film Mixer Spotlights Houston 48 Hour Film Project!

Monday April 7, 2008 @ 7pm
The GRAB (809 Pierce St, Houston, TX)
Please join us for The First Monday Film Mixer to watch films and network with local filmmakers. The FMFM spotlights the Houston 48HFP this month and will screen a selection of Houston entries from 2005-2007. Laura Schlecht, Houston Producer, will be on hand to answer and questions you have about the project. Mixer starts at 7pm and films screen at 8pm. The GRAB is in Midtown on Pierce between Milam and Travis.
The 48 Hour Film Project is an exciting fast paced independent filmmaking competition which encourages filmmakers to get out there and make a film rather than talk about making a film. In cities around the world, teams of filmmakers race the clock to make a film in a single weekend.
The 48HFP visits Houston the weekend of June 6 - 8. All entries will be screened at River Oaks Theatre on June 11 & 12.
Registration opens April 14.
