Sergio Carvajal deems this his first “serious” short film.  Written, shot, and finished in April 2007, El Camaleon was completed with a budget of 250 dollars and  a crew of 4 people (including post-production).

Sergio presented El Camaleon to the Austin Film Society (AFS) as the only audiovisual support for his Texas Filmmakers’ Production Fund (TFPF) application and it was enough to convince them to invest in another project that he is currently working on.
