Project Details:
Reel Women is a non-profit organization that contributes to the Austin film community with monthly speakers, monthly workshops, festivals, fund raising, and donating. Our annual production is of the annual Reel Women Short Screenplay Competition winning script /The Repair Kit /(working title) which we are shooting in HD here in Austin. It is a unique opportunity to collaborate on an all female crew for a female driven script, sponsored by a great film organization to boot. The short is being led by well known award winning short film director Sophia von Wrangell. She is also an award winning writer and teacher, receiving among other honors the NY Times Writer’s Pick. This production is limited to female Reel Women members.
