Casting Scene from “Back to the Future” For University of Texas Directing Class
University of Texas Student producing and directing scene from the film “Back to the Future” as an exercise for my Directing Workshop class.
SHOOTING SCHEDULE:
- 2 evening rehearsals between February 3rd-February 6th
-In Class Scene Rehearsal: Tuesday, February 5th, 2:30-3:30PM
- 1 Half-Day shoot between February 6th-13th
CASTING:
MARTY (18-26) - Caucasian. A bold, outgoing high school teenager. Has a witty charm, and a sense of cool aloofness. Confident and likes to do things his own way, expects people to roll with him. Reminiscent of Tom Cruise in Risky Business
GEORGE (18-26) - Caucasian. A shy, reclusive high school teenager. Has severe anxiety and who is afraid of social situation. Subservient and gullible to others. Stubborn.
PAID/NON-PAID: Non-Paid. DVD or Mini-DV copy of the final edit
MEALS: Food during rehearsals/shoot
