(Filmed in association with the University of Texas at Arlington, under the supervision of professor Bart Weiss.)
Casting:
Johnny – He is a young man in his early to mid twenties who is more often than not more emotional than he should be. He’s your standard nice guy who doesn’t mind throwing a joke out to break the tension but becomes very forceful when he feels he is being treated unjustly. Also a worrier he has the tendency to panic and freeze in his own imagined fears of something if something goes wrong. He’s outgoing but tends to be clingy to those close to him.
Russell – He is a young man in his mid twenties who takes things as they are and has a very brass tacks outlook on life. Often he dose what he needs to do without regard for others opinions and is not afraid to bend the rules or flat out break them if he feels its necessary. He is a good friend but not overly lovey dovey in any sense. Calm and cool he is the more rational of his friends and tries to be calculating about everything but his emotions sometimes make up his mind for him.
Betty – She is an apartment manager who is quite prim and proper and well spoken. She looks down on those renting apartments from her because they haven’t made enough of themselves to buy a house, she doesn’t particularly care about any problems any of them might have and goes to great lengths to not have to associate or help anyone with anything unless she’s collecting rent. She believes herself to be better than most everyone.
Bob – Is a cop in his late twenties who has a passion for justice and enjoys taking criminals down. He sees himself as a protector of the neighborhood and any criminals he finds committing a crime are to be dealt with swiftly and thrown into jail as soon as possible. Though most often he is over eager in his line of work he is fairly intelligent and can be reasoned with but doesn’t enjoy being brought out of his hard core “cop that busts the bad guy mode” or being brought into it for no reason for that matter.
