Synopsis:
Georgia Sky parallels the lives of a 16 year old African American female and a 16 year old Caucasian female, set in 2008 Georgia. Same cities, different high schools and a never ending amount of drama. Both young women are struggling with growing up in a Christian environment and dealing with the pressures of being in high school, parents, friends and siblings. It is the story of how they deal with the choices they make.

LAUREL SHADRACH – Caucasian female, 16 years old, high school gymnast who is slightly outgoing, confident and friendly. LEAD

DAKARI GRAHAM – African American male, 17 years old, he has an out of sight body, he’s stubborn yet sweet. He is a high school running back. SUPPORTING
BRITTANY COX – Caucasian female, 16 years old, extremely attractive girl that is Laurel’s so-called best friend and the captain of the cheerleading squad. SUPPORTING
LYNZI BROWN – African American female,16 years old, she is Payton’s best friend who gets her into trouble.

Hi Tyler, I do not know, but all I know this is a blessing from God, and I am trying every which way I could to give my son Casey Jackson a break. I would have never know of such talent. He is extremely quiet, but he surprised me when he said he wanted to be an actor. I said yeah right, but I did not judge him at all. I bought him to several auditions and he nailed it. The casting directors was stun, Casey has natural talent He comes out of this quiet young man and when he is in a character is he someone else. The young brother is excellent. I thought he would need acting classes, he does not at all, just a few acting slangs to learn and he is good to go. I don’t know Tyler we would be grateful if you just audition him and he be in an epidsode or 15 minutes of air time you need to see this young man act. Thanks for considering him for an audition. I don’t know if anyone has seen this guy IronE in the new BET sitcom “SOMEBODIES” , but he is A-MAZING. He plays the black militant Epitome. I messed around and Googled IronE him and turns out his last name is Singleton and he has a one man show called “IronE… The Resurrected.” WOW! …is all I can say. …and look out Denzel!

Just wanted to say that as a high school student, I had dreams of becoming an actress, but I just didn’t know how to make it happen. One of the things that was discouraging to me (in the late 1990’s) was not seeing enough believers represented in Hollywood, or the “Big Screen” at large. Therefore, I put my dreams on the back burner, and went to Adelphi University (New York), Morgan State University (Maryland), and Howard University (Washington, D.C.). I don’t regret getting an education. However, if I could turn back the hands of time, I would have majored in Theatre, or gone to acting school. Anyway, lately I have been fasting and praying as I am laying some of my desires before the Lord. One of my desires is working with you one day. I believe with all of my heart that I will be blessed with the opportunity to work with you (in one of the plays, movies, and/or sitcoms). I truly believe that when things come around a second time, it is for a reason. I am talented, but more importantly, I am anointed. I can sing like nobody’s business. Hello Mr. Perry! My name is Brittney Pearson and I have been studying acting since I was 12, I will be 18 this june. I am a mixed, African American, 5 ft tall and 175 (I hope! I haven’t checked in a while.) pounds. My dream is to be an actress. I love it so much that I can’t see myself doing anything else, ever! like ”monti”, i was about to give up all hope. i figured , how did i end up a 18 year old living in a shelter with no mother or father and having to feel like a man is my only option in being relaxed? ive tried and tried and nothing is happening for me ive been through acting agencies for five yrs .traveling to new york city at 14 on my own to follow my dream, and to stop having to sneak into peopls cars to have someplace to rest my head at night .going to the hospitals to eat because in ct thats the only place were they give free food if u live in a shelter.this one particular night
i stood on the chair with the rope in my hand, I HAD NO FEAR! as if i had staying in the shelter with nothing but strangers. but for some reason right when i ws about to give up on god , a force hit my chest.i knew it was the lord so i anwered him i said lord ,im about to give up ive tried and tried .im an 18 yr old loser. what is it u want me to do.that same night i had a dream i was in church.so now i go to church and now i know even if i was born with and acting talent and want to be a star just like keyshia night palmer (cause i look just lke her) not every one with the right talent even gets the chance but i know I now have the lord with me and hes got a plan! Mr. Tyler Perry, I just want to commend you for allowing God to mold you into the person that you have become and are yet coming.. i have had humble beginnings as a model ( I’m 5′10) and i find myself opening up to God’s plan while being creative.. Hi Mr. Perry. I’ve watched all of your plays, and movies since you been making them. It inspires me that you came from being homeless to making movies. I to have been homeless, but I coming back slowly but surely. Anyway I was writing to let you know that if you’re ever looking for someone of older age me and my mom are here. My mom is 56, has been singing since she was a little girl. She has a beautiful voice sent from God. She has been through trials, and tribulations but she never gives in to the devil. She is my hero, and my role model. I am 28, and the single mother of a 9yr old daughter. I came up in the church and when I got older with kids i found myself going back to church until one day my life, my marriage seemed to be going downhill and much more. My name is Irena, and since the first time I saw one of your plays, I’ve thought, “I would love to be in one of Tyler Perry’s plays!” For years I’ve wanted to write my own play, based on stories in the black communities, and how experiences lead people them to the chruch house. Hi Tyler,
I have wanted to be an actress and model every since I was in high school. I have taken a theather class in high school and enjoyed it so much. I have never been on an audition but if given the chance I will give 110%. I would like to know if I have what it takes to make this happen after so many have told me that I should give up my dream because opportunities like these do not come often. Im trusting and relying on Jehovah to open that door for me. I am looking for help with getting a picture of me on the explore talent website so that companys preferably yours will have an opportunity to view me. I am 27 but most people can not believe it because I look so young and I am very petite. I think I would be great for the roles of Lynzi and/ Payton. Tyler Perry does not have the time to look at this websitem I don,t even think he knows it even exist. A lot of these actors, and producers don’t. Cast everyday people they say they do but they don’t I have sent him a pic I num er of times…and he has not respond. I an actress myself and a singer. I live in ATL. Just came home from seeing Why did I get married too?
Tyler what happened? It was so sad, alittle of a downer. I felt like I needed to see a Madia movie. LOL. Anyhow I still enjoy your hard effort of directing and trying to inspire couples to stay together.
Loved “I can do bad all on my own” and look forward to more movies that are Christ centered!
