Synopsis:
A scientist creates a virus that creates a physical manifestation of TV censorship. The blurs are no longer only on your screen. The short explores one couple relationship while dealing with the aftermath of being newly censored.
Casting:
Rachel - The foul mouthed girl friend of the scientist. She will lost her job as a TV anchor is she can’t keep her swearing under control. Actress needs to be able to play a 25-30 year old, and be able to cuss fluidly.
Main Anchor - Rachel’s Co-worker. His age range is very broad from 30-70. Must look good in suit and be able to give off air of in studio anchor confidence.
Priest - In a taped news segment a priest delivers a monologue about how censorship effects the Bible and his Sermons. Age range would preferably be 35-50.
Hank - Is a foul mouthed citizen first observed by Evan in line at the grocery store. Hank has his own story line embedded in the movie. We watch the virus slowly change the way he lives his life. Age range 25-35
Melissa - Hank’s equally foul mouthed live in girl friend. Her story arc mirrors that of Hank. 25-35
Dr. Roberts - A doctor that shares space with Evan’s Lab facility. He helps Evan examine patients that are negatively impacted by the virus. Age range 35- 50
