Film Synopsis:
A rancher’s family crosses paths with a Mexican immigrant. This is a human element story of tragedy and forgiveness.

Casting:
Heston – male, 30’s, Caucasian, 5′10″ or taller, ruggedly handsome think young Marlboro man type, fit/healthy build, rancher-traditional man of few words character, must be comfortable around cattle, confident, charismatic leading man quality. This is a character driven story with very intense subjects ( ie. the murder of his wife) must have a great range of emotional response. Must be able to cry.

Isael – male, 30-40 age range, Hispanic 5′10″ or taller, fit build, dark hair/dark eyes, rugged, shifty, dangerous character, smooth talker, charismatic, slick possibly arrogant, comfortable in jeans and boots, fluent in Spanish. This is a Spanish speaking role. This is a character driven story must be able to express a wide range of emotions.

Lalo - male, 20’s, Hispanic 5′10″ or shorter, small build, Mexican immigrant, mild mannered, soft spoken, likeable / friendly, underdog character type, must be fluent in Spanish/Spanish speaking role. This is a character driven story must have great range of emotional response.

Lane – male or female, 9 or older to play 6-7 y/o, Caucasian, must look young, small for age, handsome/pretty, athletic, must be comfortable riding horses, rancher’s kid, serious and stern think little rancher. This will be a character driven story so actor must have wide range of emotional response. Must be able to cry and take direction well.

Audition Details:
Auditions will take place in Austin on Friday Nov. 21 by invitation only.
