Project Title: Barney and Friends – Barney’s Let’s Go On a Vacation
Project Type: PBS Expanded Video
Casting Date: Thursday August 21
Call Back: TBD
Rehearsal/Shoot Dates: Oct. 16 – Oct. 22 (you must be available all days)
Location: Dallas, Texas
Casting:
Grandfather – Hispanic Male, 60+ – should look like a sweet, old grandpa. Bilingual a plus but NOT required. Basic guitar skills a plus, but NOT required.
Fernan – Hispanic Boy around 10-12 (can be slightly older or younger as long as they “look” 10-12). Strong actor. Bilingual a plus but NOT required.
(DO NOT submit if you came in for the Barney auditions held in June.)
Paid / Non-Paid: Paid – $300/day (1 rehearsal day/2-3 shoot days)

I have a son that’s 5 years old and where intersted actually mostly he’s interested in being in barney. My daughters are starting to act and since then he’s been interested also. He’s a very good actor and very highly intelligent good translater in english and spanish. He is attending pre-k and does very well.

I am 9 years old. I’ve been taking singing lessons for over a year. I’ve done well in the local music festival and done one Operatic show case with my singing teacher. i am a talented actor and has casted in all shows at my school. i have starred in “Annie” and “Grease”. I am 10 and i just love acting and singing and acting. i take many instrument lessons. I play the guitar and piano. I have experienced learning ballet. I could sing the scales and dance to any music. I have also dreamed of at least being in Barney or any other shows.i am very much interested in being in Barney.

Madeline has dreamed of being on Barney since age 4. She is now 11 and has a voice and personality for your show. When and where will the next audition be so I can help her fulfill her dream . She just auditioned for America’s Got Talent in Fort Worth and she loves the whole process! NBC taped the auditions so we won’t know the outcome for a month or so. She draws a crowd of kids and adults when she practices in the auditorium at her school.
Any information you pass my way will help as I am just learning the business myself.

My daughter, Madeline, is very interested in learning more about Dallas area auditions for Barney and Friends. She is going to be 10 years old within a couple of weeks and has loved acting, singing and dancing since she was a little girl. In researching the careers of two of her favorite actresses, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, Madeline was excited to discover that they are both former Barney and Friends stars.
Madeline was at one time with Kim Dawson Agency and has participated in the summer program at Dallas Children’s Theatre. She is a beautiful, tall, redhead who would be so thrilled to be ” best friends like friends should be”!

Hello friends and fellow stars,
My little girl Brooklynn Dampier has been a fan of Barney ever since she could speak her first words. Barney has been a great teaching aide for her overall development as a child. I would love if Brooklynn had the opportunity to audtion for a part on the show. My little lady is only 4 years old but very full of life, she enjoys singing, dancing and acting. Sometimes I forget that she is just a toddler because of her level of communication. She would be perfect for this show.

My grandaughter has down syndrome is seven years old and she knows every dance move for all her barney video’s. I think having her in a barney video would be very inspirational for new parents of children with specail needs to see what they can accomplish.

Hello, my name is Rebekah Marlin. I’m 11 years old, I may be a bit old for the roles, but I’m small-I’m smaller then my younger sister (by 2 years 2 months) tallest friend. I’ve had main roles in my school play. This year we did ‘Wizard of Pop’ and I was the ‘Wicked Witch’ and I don’t know how I got it, because I was really nervous, but now I’m confident. My friends says I’m great at singing (I write my own songs) and when I go to church, every week I’d get complimented for my singing, and I used to go to dance club when I was 6-9, and I’m great at gymnastics. I can do the splits and bridge-kickover (sometimes) and bridge turn. My teacher says I’m over average for intelligence, and I always have to show my class mates gymnastics, because my teacher tells me to. I made a dance routine to ‘Don’t Stop Moving’ for our ‘Wizard of Pop’ and it got picked. I dance all the time, and sing/write songs and act in my bedroom. I’m English, but love to act. I’ll love to sing/dance/act on Barney and Friends. My mum says I have a great sense of humour (heredity!). Please pick me, as I’d do my best every second of the day. I may be English, but I take acting classes and have a great heart, and talent (I hope I’m not boasting) thankyou for reading this, and please pick me. xxx

But the problem is that i wear a headscarf. My freinds gave me the courage that i could do anything that my heart desires to make my dreams come true.

my boys are 2 and 5 they admire barney more than anything they know almost every song by word on the show. I was a childhood fan of barney and i know its a longshot but they are very outgoing and love dancing and singing they are the funniest little boys and joke alot. They have every barney i can think of and they really want to be on the show. I know that in life you only live once and i want to make their dreams come true…. please inform me of any auditions they may be able to attend what i might need to bring thank you their mommy….
