Film Synopsis:
The youthful, rebellious Ashley piles abuses upon self in the pursuit of happiness, until she decides to look for it in her immediate surroundings and finds it.
Casting:
Ashley - 18-25, Lost and angry, she abuses drugs, relationships, her body, and self in general in the pursuit of happiness. Treated decently by an outsider, Alex, she falls into his plans and is raped. Charles finally fails to save her, but when he does all that he can to rectify her situation, she realizes his love and reciprocates it. [Mild nudity in one scene and only undergarments in two scenes.]
Alex - 22-30, Charismatic, patient, and evil, Alex lures Ashley into a feeling of safety and then rapes her. Alex cares only for himself. [Attacked by Charles and will be bound and gagged in one scene.]
Charles - 18-25, He is stocky and prone to violence for answers. A longtime friend and repeated savior of Ashley, his actions speak of the deep love he has for her. [Attacks Alex in one scene and attacks two men in one scene.]
Belinda: 35-45, Ashley’s mother enjoys the grease-eating, over-medicating, commercial monotony, sitcom of the average American life. She wants her daughter to contribute or get out.
This movie will depict drug use (with and without consent) and violence. Rape and torture are implied.
