Casting and Auditions for Student Short Film “Going Up?”

Synopsis:
After hearing that his friend found wife-to-be on an elevator, Evan decides to search for the perfect woman through a series of situation-inspired awkward conversations with every girl that comes onto the elevator.

Casting:
Evan - Evan is an early to mid-twenties single man. He is confident, well spoken, and easy going. He has hit a bad dating streak and is desperate to try a new route to finding the perfect woman.

Chris - Chris is an early to mid-twenties man. He has a type A personality, he is forceful with his beliefs, very knowledgeable, and sincerely wants to help his friend. He has been dating a girl for a couple years and is about to propose to her.

Nicole - Niccole is an early to mid-twenties woman. She is outgoing, attractive, goal-oriented, and flirtatious. She is in a passionate relationship with a guy she happens to be phoning on the elevator.

Amy - Amy is an early to mid-twenties woman. She is an outgoing, down-to-earth, people person, but is a prude in every sense of the word.

Jessica - Jessica is an early to mid-twenties woman. She is egocentric, however, she is very bubbly and naive.

Lauren - Lauren is an early to mid-twenties woman. She is confident, attractive, easy to talk to, down to earth, and an artist in the medium of banter.

The Audition will be on Wednesday (April 16th) at 6pm, in Austin on the University of Texas Campus In the Burdine Building room 128.
