Casting / Auditions for Austin, Texas Viral Video Series “Back Alley: Life on the Street”
CastingĀ for Paid Viral Video Series Project “Back Alley: Life on the Street.”
Project Title: Back Alley: Life on the Streets
Project Type: Viral Video Series
Shooting Schedule: August 30th and 31st. Future shoot dates would be during one or two weekdays per week.
Location: Austin, Texas
Project Details:
Life on the Streets is an experimental viral video series commissioned by a local Internet media company that takes classic sitcom situations and places them in the culture of homelessness. The series will parody The Office, Seinfeld, Frasier, Friends and many other popular sitcoms. Each episode will have a running time of 2-5 minutes. The series has been commissioned for a pilot and second episode at the moment, with the option of being a full time project that results in 5-8 episodes per week.
Since the show is a parody of other shows, it is important that all actors have range and can portray many different characters. While in the future we may want to see new talent, we would prefer only to see actors with a good amount of film experience (three supporting parts at least) or a strong theater or improve background.
Casting:
Character #1 (Male - late 20’s or early 30’s) - the leader of the group. A mix between Jerry Seinfeld, Chandler Bing, Frasier Crane and Michael Jim from The Office.
