Austin Filmmaker Gabe Evan’s Short Film “Killer Weed” Nominated for Best Short Film at B-Movie Film Fest‏.

I just wanted to send a big Congratulations out to Texas Filmmaker Gabe Evans for having his short film “Killer Weed” nominated for Best Short Film at the B-Movie Film Fest.  I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing the actual film yet BUT the trailer is awesome and has probably THE BEST movie theme song I’ve heard in a long time. Funny. As. Hell.

About The Film:
Killer Weed, starring Samuel Wyatt, Reese Merritt, and Max Jenkins, tells the unforgettable story of a Marijuana Monster, the doctor who created it, and the three cub scouts set on destroying it. It features an all-star cast including Garry Peters as Doctor Vornakoff, and three blond-haired children as the cub scouts. It screens at the B-Movie Film Fest in Syracuse, NY on Oct. 11, so if you’re in the neighborhood, you should drop on by.
