Hollywood Comes To The Woodlands To Film Sitcom Pilot.
Ron Stern, owner of RTF Productions, Inc., has announced that auditions for a television series pilot to be filmed in The Woodlands.

Production Details:
Veteran writer, Doreen Spicer heads the writing team for the Sitcom series whose productions include Disney’s movie, “Jump In” as well as “The Proud Family” Disney series. The Director, Eric Seaton, brings years of credits with such shows as “That’s So Raven”, Suite Life of Zack & Cody”, and “Cory In The House”.
Sitcom Details:
The comedy sitcom is centered on The Woodlands national pop/hip hop recording group known as “Savvy”.
Casting:
Principal roles are needed for African American male and female to play parents of young Sarah, Performing Arts High School Teacher and Principal; and a Classical Ballet Instructor.
Extras:
Over 30 students will be used as extras in this first episode. Stern says they are looking for students, ages 13-18 male & female, all types of funny kids, all funny character types, classical ballet, tap, hip hop, singers, actors, musicians.

Hello,
I am writing to inquire about the Woodlands, Texas Television Pilot series centered around the Hip Hop recording group “savvy”. Unfortunately, I am just finding this notice and see auditions were held in August 2008. However, if you are still looking for individuals, I am interested in auditining and meeting with you. I recently had a small part in the big Disney High School Musical 3 film, scheduled to hit theatres this October!
