Auditions For University of Texas Film Productions MFA Scene Project
The UT Film Production MFA students are looking for actors for a scene project.
The scene, from the published screenplay “The Devil and Daniel Webster”, will be rehearsed, presented to a directing workshop and shot in February. The role is unpaid, but you will also be considered for roles in short films and will be given digital copies of the finished project for their reels.
Auditions will be held Sunday Jan. 20.
CASTING:
Character A: Jabez - male, (late 20s to mid-40s), down on his luck regular Joe with a thirst for more.
Character B: Scratch (the Devil) - open (male or female), the devil in human form, a mix of charm and danger.
COMMITTMENT:
Workshop performance: evening, February 6th
Shooting: 1 day, February 9th or 10th
