2007 SILVER SCREAMS FILM FESTIVAL & LITTLE SHORTS OF HORROR FILM COMPETITION

October 12 and 13, in Houston, Texas. Resurrects classic horror films to the big screen once again. Dedicated to film lovers who relish watching movies from the past in the darkened theaters of the present - alongside kindred screamers with popcorn and beer!

This year the festival will be at the Copperfield Studio Movie Grill, 8580 Highway 6 North, at West Road near Hwy. 290 (www.studiomoviegrill.com).

Saturday seminar features horror filmmakers, historians, actors, screenwriters, and book authors. The Little Shorts of Horror Film Competition encourages shorts following in the tradition of the classics. Winning short is sent to Stephen King, whom the competition honors. New this year is a “Horror Trailer Competition” , for films real or imagined! This award honors director/screenwriter and horror master Clive Barker, festival advisory board member.
