STORY LINE: A young man accidentally eats a piece of toast which has the image of Christ burnt into it. As his day begins to unfold he begins to think that he is blessed with the Power of Jesus. Awesome.

Character Descriptions:
JIMMY CHAVEZ -Hispanic early 20’s with a sense of humor. He is tall and thin and always wears a dickies and a wife beater. He also has either a shaved head or very short hair. He lives in the hood, and has bad tattoos. Must be quick with responses. He comes from a broken home and lives with his aunt; they are poor but have a strong family tie. He is the kind of guy everybody want to be friends with.

TIA ROSIE - She is a mature Hispanic woman in her early 50’s who is old school in her ways of raising her family. She also has a deep devotion to her catholic background. Her house is adorned with saint figurines and religious candles.

MIGUEL - Hispanic early 20 to 30 he is the guy who never want to find a job. He is always asking every one for money to go out and drink with. Every time people see him they try to avoid him but he manages to find a way to get to them. The neighborhood pest, he is also funny.

GILL - Hispanic he is 45 to 50 and owns a landscaping company, only hires wetbacks because he under pays them all. He always looks dirty and smelly, listens to Mexican music all the time. He drives and old beat up van.

WOMAN - any ethnicity in her 40’s. Very conservative. She is walking out of a Lasik Eye Surgery place, wearing dark sun blockers.

GIRL - 9 to 12 years old she thinks her puppy got run over. And asks Jimmy for help.

ANNA - 25 to 35 very attractive local news personality and is the girls mother and she sees that Jimmy helped her daughter and wants to do a report on him.

TRASHMEN - any ethnicity 20 to 40 years old. They work out in the sun all day. So preferably look a little weathered.

MAN ON BIKE - 20 to 30 years old, yuppyish looking. Short professional hair cut. He’s out exercising and gets his bicycle stolen.

CAMERA MAN - 30 to 40 years old. He works for a local news station; he is Anna’s cameraman.

CHURCH CONGREGATION EXTRAS - All ages and all ethnicities. I will need people on crutches and people with broken legs. People with wheelchairs, missing limbs etc. All people who would be looking for help. This isn’t how they need to be I just need all sorts of people.

HOMELESS MEN (3) - need three homeless men preferably 40 to 50 years old. Alcoholic type.

DOCTORS (2) - 30 TO 50 years old.
